Our outstanding program chairman, Dave Myers, came through with another unforgettable program this week when the Roosevelt High School Choral program was cancelled. His “Year in Review” for 1920 is well worth watching on our Rotary You Tube channel if you missed it. January’s programs arranged by Amanda Senn will feature
“locals who have become famous”, with Marcquis Parham, our next program, on January 5.
I’ll take this opportunity to remind everyone as we close out this calendar year that in order to be eligible for a District matching grant next year, we must contribute at least $40 per capita to the Rotary International annual fund. Fortunately, we have till the end of June to make this goal but I mention it now for individual tax planning purposes. With our recent Holiday Gala raising over $3000, we are well on our way to reaching that goal.
