This is a very busy few weeks for our club!  We hosted the District 4-Way Speech Contest, are playing a part in this week’s District Conference, and are only a couple of weeks away from our biggest fundraiser of the last three years! None of this would be happening without loads of help from many club members.  Thank you to all who are involved!  I am forever grateful!

I hope everyone registered for all or part of the District 6630 Conference!  Members of our club will be there for every aspect of the conference.  It will be a great opportunity to celebrate our club, other area clubs, and Rotary itself.  I can’t wait!

What are YOU donating for Kent Rotary Auction???  I admit (rather sheepishly) that Tom and I are still weighing that decision.  While we do have a cat that came into our house “just for the summer” quite a few years ago that we wouldn’t mind giving away (to a good home, of course), I promise we won’t put her in the auction.  Stay tuned!  In the meantime, think about what you will be donating, make your reservations for the evening and let’s get ready to have a FUN(draising) GOOD TIME!  The auction will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022.  More information will be coming, or you can reach out to Stacey Richardson (stacey.richardson@kentfreelibrary.org) or Lauren Talion (lauren.talion.un76@statefarm.com) with your questions or auction items.  REMEMBER to invite guests!  Let’s make this one the best ever!

I look forward to seeing everyone for our meeting on Tuesday, April 19th!  We will have our Kent Roosevelt Student of the Month with us.

With gratitude,

Kathy
