Hi Rotarians and Friends!
For the remainder of January, we will be meeting in person, not serving lunch, and requesting everyone wear masks during the meeting.  The board had a special meeting last week to discuss our options and it was unanimously agreed that this is the best approach for the remainder of January.

Hopefully the Covid surge will be behind us and we can again enjoy lunch as well as each other’s company and our great programs.  Thank you to all who sent feedback with their thoughts on this issue.  Remember, if you cannot join in person or don’t feel comfortable joining in person, you can join via Zoom.

I absolutely loved Mary Beth’s program on 22 for 2022!  We all wrote down some of our intentions (sounds less daunting than goals) for the year. Here are some of the ones I liked the best.
  1. Invite 4 people to join Kent Rotary. (Let’s all do this one!)
  2. Try new recipes every week.
  3. Surprise my spouse more often.
  4. Increase my physical activities (these ranged from “getting outside every day” to swimming 200,000 laps this year).
  5. Write more thank you notes.
  6. Don’t die.  (Let’s all have this intention!)
Our slate of officers for the upcoming Rotary year was elected on Tuesday.  Thank you to all of them!  Our club will be in great hands in the coming year.

Our program this week will be another interactive one from Mary Beth.  I am looking forward to it!  This week, while David Dix is vacationing, Mrs. Roeger will be taking his place at the piano.  Thank you!

Let’s Serve to Change Lives!

With gratitude,

Kathy
