Trivia:

Program:
Stacey Richardson introduced Mary Beth.
Mary Beth taught the art of How to make a toast.
There are several ways to make a toast. You start with knowing your audience, the
reason for the toast and what type of event it is. Next you lead with gratitude and
appreciation, introduce yourself and who you are, acknowledge the achievement, speak
from your heart and repeat the gratitude and appreciation. End with CHEERS or
another closing.
Toasting tips:
1.) Host is the 1st to toast or asks someone else to.
2.) A toast is not a roast.
3.) Be sure everyone has drinks and is involved.
4.) Announce the toast by standing, raise you glass and look at your guest while
toasting.
5.) Clanking glasses depend on the audience.
Everyone broke off into small groups to practice.
Response was from Tom Hatch who included each week’s topic in a humorous way to
end the series from Mary Beth.
