On October 29^th, our club will be participating in the Family Friendly Halloween Trick or Treating in downtown Kent.  We will be at the gazebo from 5 to 7.  We will need two to four people to be there and hand out candy during those hours.  We will also need over 1000 treats to hand out.  If you can either be there or donate treats, please let me know.  I’ll pass a sign up at the meeting on Tuesday.  Thanks!

 

As I mentioned on last Tuesday, Past President, Randy Smith’s wife Susan had surgery on Thursday for metastatic melanoma.  The surgery went well and she is home from the hospital.  Please continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

United Way of Portage County is conducting its kickoff party at the Midway Drive-thru theater on Wednesday the 6^th from 6-10pm.

 

Roger Sidoti thanked all volunteers for the Lords Lunch last weekend.

 

President Kathy asked all Rotarians to have Past President’s spouse in their thoughts and prayers in advance of an upcoming procedure.

Mr. Kitabwalla is here today to share his five core principals – notions that have guided him through life and contributed to much of his success professionally and personally.

The opportunity to came to this country has had a profound effect on Mr. Kitabwalla.  As others have extended kindness and opportunity to him, so too will he pay it forward.
