This week was our annual “March Madness” preview from Laing Kennedy, NCAA seed expert. Next week is our always entertaining 4 Way speech contest featuring local talented high school orators whose insightful topics inspire.
Our club has taken advantage of a matching grant from the district for area projects such as the current literacy project, Imagination Library, or international grants such as the water project in Central America. In order to qualify for this grant, we need to have a per capita giving to the RI Foundation annual fund of $40 or $4200 total. To date our giving has been $2757 leaving a short fall of $1443. This is an appeal to members of our club to donate to the Rotary International Annual Fund before the May 15 deadline. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
