This week we heard from Kent City Manager, Dave Ruller. I found his information packed update as to what is happening in the city uplifting. It gives me hope for a return to a bustling downtown in the future with all the new projects going forward.

It’s maple syrup time in northeast Ohio. Unfortunately, the area festivals have been canceled for the most part due to Covid 19. I tapped a tree last year and made about 2 quarts of syrup. I’m switching to a wood fire to evaporate the sap this year since I figure it cost me about $30/quart in propane for last year’s batch! Wish me luck.
