We have wrapped up our month of programs on how local educational institutions are prepared for this year’s opening. What an amazing amount of planning and preparation have gone into creating a safe yet productive learning environment. The flexibility built into the systems insures that no student is placed into a situation that they have not had some choice. I can’t imagine what it must be like to spend hours planning programs knowing that they may need to change at a moment’s notice depending on the pandemic’s statistics. The Rotary community is hoping we get through this as planned.
As I noted last week, we have a month of diverse programs coming next month both in content and geographic location, should be exciting! Your Rotary Board has an ongoing interest in reaching as many members as possible on a weekly basis. We have a team that is reaching out to every member to ensure we are not missing opportunities to connect. If anyone has suggestions on how we could make connecting easier or in a different format, please contact any of us on the board. We are also committed to making club operations as visible as possible and therefore recently began publishing the clubs monthly financial status. We need your feedback as to the current format providing a succinct and easily understandable document. We will soon be adding the Kent Rotary Foundation financials as well.
