At long last we are at 100th Anniversary Celebration Week!  The committee has been working for TWO YEARS getting ready for this, and I’m sure they, more than anyone, are anxious to get the party rolling!  Please be sure to express your gratitude to those who have worked so hard to make this event a reality.

On October 29th, our club will be participating in the Family Friendly Halloween Trick or Treating in downtown Kent.  We will be at the gazebo from 5 to 7.  We had several people volunteer to help pass out treats during those hours, but we need loads of treats to pass out.  A number of you volunteered to bring treats or donate money with which to buy treats, but we will need more.  Let me or Curt Stumpf know if you can donate treats. Thanks!

Plan on our Kent Rotary Holiday Party on Friday, December 3rd.  Based on the show of hands at our meeting on Tuesday, this club is ready to get back to normal when it comes to ringing in the holidays.  Details will be forthcoming.

We need more members to help with the audio/visual aspect of our meetings.  The committee of about six has dwindled to two or three.  If we are going to be able to have hybrid meetings, which have been wonderful, we need more assistance.  The more people we have helping, the less the burden is on any one member.  Thank you!

See you Tuesday.  Let’s Serve to Change Lives!

With gratitude,

Kathy
