It was so great to be in Pierson Hall last week. The acoustics were much improved, and we still were able to have club members who couldn’t join in person, join via Zoom. Please join in person if you can!
This week, David Dix has a special musical treat for us. He has invited soprano Kishna Davis Fowler and pianist Kenneth McCorvey to start our meeting off with a “Lift Every Voice And Sing.” According to her biography, Professor Fowler “has won wide critical and audience acclaim throughout the United States and Europe for her deeply intimate artistry, commanding vocal ability and versatile stage presence.” WOW! And she’s going to be the one leading the singing on Tuesday!
We have several important events coming up for our club. District 6630’s 4-Way Test Contest will be hosted by our club on Saturday, April 9th. Please reach out to Will Underwood if you are interested in helping. Two weeks later, April 22nd and 23rd is District 6630’s annual conference. We need to all plan to be there to support Governor Larry! Then two weeks later, we will have our annual Kent Rotary Auction.

You can learn more about it and download the app. There are no extra charges for you or the club, so it’s a way of making everyone’s life a little easier.
