What a great month of programs Dave Myers has set up. We heard this week from Dana Lawless-Andric and our own Todd Kamenash about KSU’s plan to bring students back. What a challenge it is going to be to keep our community safe with an influx of thousands of new temporary residents. It’s comforting to hear the plans that are underway to mitigate our exposure to so many possible new sources of viral spread but as our discussion during the Q&A pointed out it comes down to individual responsibility. Ultimately we can only control our own actions but hopefully the modeling provided by the majority will influence the individual. Next week we will begin a series on what Kent City Schools are preparing, for the return of students with Superintendent George Joseph speaking.
