Thanks to all those who attended our Rotary Happy Hour last Wednesday. We had a nice turnout and I look forward to the next one!
We are less than two weeks from our 100th Anniversary Gala! I hope everyone has signed up for this once in a lifetime opportunity! We recently received a “last chance to sign up” from Rebekah Wright Kulis (by way of Roger Kramer), so if you have put off registering, please do it NOW!
We are still waiting for a report on the direction we will be going with our lunches. Stay tuned.
On October 29th, our club will be participating in the Family Friendly Halloween Trick or Treating in downtown Kent. We will be at the gazebo from 5 to 7. We will need two to four people to be there and hand out candy during those hours. We will also need over 1000 treats to hand out. If you can either be there or donate treats, please let me know. I’ll pass a sign up at the meeting on Tuesday. Thanks!
As I mentioned on last Tuesday, Past President, Randy Smith’s wife Susan had surgery on Thursday for metastatic melanoma. The surgery went well and she is home from the hospital. Please continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
See you Tuesday. Let’s Serve to Change Lives!
With gratitude,
Kathy
