David Myers presented today’s program which came about due to research he began during quarantine on his great grandfather, Paul Davey.

Dave spent time reading The Kent Tribune newspaper as part of his research. He adapted that research for today’s program in which he shared popular, and often comical, headlines and more from every month of 1920 as written by the Kent Tribune. The Kent Tribune is available online thanks to a grant received by Kent Historical Society. Those interested in reading the paper on their own can find it at: https://kentohiohistory.org/collections/newspaper-archives-kent-tribune. David closed his presentation with a reading of the poem Little Old Newspaper from My Old Hometown.
