Dear Rotarians,
I enjoyed hearing from Portage County Treasurer Brad Cromes this past Tuesday. I know I certainly did not have a full grasp of exactly what a county treasurer does, so I thought it was very interesting and Brad’s fun nature and good sense of humor made for another great program.
Many thanks to all of you who have brought in items to donate to Kent Social Services. We’re going to collect items for them one more time at this week’s meeting so if you are so please consider bringing in canned goods or other shelf-stable items. These simple donations make huge differences in the lives of our fellow Kent community members!
I hope you can make it to trivia night at North Water Brewing this Thursday night for a fun time battling it out on the playing field of accumulated random knowledge! Thanks to our membership director Amanda Senn for coordinating our group. It starts at 7 and I’m sure we will have a great time.
I’m looking forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday and hearing from Rev. Renee Ruchotzke and her message on the next generation of leaders. Have a great week!
