A mother approaches with some small children and puts a donation in the bucket. She turns to her children and says, “We have to do this, so we don’t end up like them!” John turns to David and says, “You mean lawyers?” Happy Bucks Anita Herrington for celebrating her 53rd wedding anniversary. Program Amanda Senn introduced the much-anticipated program today, The Theodore Roosevelt Aces Choir. The Aces come every year to bring holiday cheer to the club. Amanda pointed out that they are the top chorale group made up of members drawn from the other choirs in the school. These nine members perform all over the local area, serving as ambassadors for Kent and Roosevelt High School. They are led by Director Corey Fowler. They started their performance off stage, singing as they came into the meeting. Each song was Christmas themed or celebrating the Holidays. They were unique, with a blend of the old and new. They ended their performance with Silent Night, singing it first in German, and then inviting the club to sing in English along with them. As in the past, the performance was well received! The performers introduced themselves: Cora Allen grade 12, Delaney Sefchick grade 12, Natalie Roeger Grade 11, Dylan Schmidt grade 12, Rodney Grok, grade 11, Corine Dockstetter grade 12, Miranda Harman grade 12, Max Uhrie grade 11, Ara Herman grade 12
